Answers Systems performs contract management and claim settlement for several foodservice manufacturers.  Distributors submit their claims in a variety of formats and file types depending on their rebate tracking and system capabilities.  Our preference is to receive Billback claim data electronically to streamline settlement turnaround, expedite the payment and avoid unnecessary deductions.

The EDI 867-Billback, text delimited, Excel are the formats most commonly used. Electronic claim submission can justify cost savings for the distributor by improving working capital.  People, paper and postage are just some examples of proven efficiencies that also promote “green” business practices.

Answers Systems also works with distributors to obtain electronic sales reporting for operator clients who use our Valutrak services to manage their negotiated manufacturer rebates and administer price verification for their contracted agreements.   Distributors are eager to support their customers by providing sales usage in Answers Systems preferred layout or other similar file specification.
